I dunno, it's interesting but it definitely feels like just stage one of a track, like you're just trying out ideas really. Will definitely be curious if you keep with it though. seems like it could be the start of something really cool.

some different stuff from me.. getting back into tracker music made of samples.. simple little ditty...

i never messed with drumloops much back when i started trackering, feel a bit of an impostor, i dont know what i'm doing. but it's good fun after years of ableton and softsynths..

love how the melodies gradually expand in that one, the breaks are nice n crunchy, too. the 1:00 mark is real groovy   I just wish the bass sat a bit higher in the mix for my taste. nice little track

it's nice being able to chuck in whatever i want and the computer doesn't freeze or burn my fingertips off. but maybe it's bad and limits are good.

Shoot man, I like it a lot for just jamming/ messing around. Builds well and really enjoyable.

It's nice when that approach works out so well; hit and miss for me.

Something about jangling melody had me thinking of a snes game called Secret of Mana, a few minutes in. Funny how the brain employs some kind of neural best-fit pattern matching algorithm with some sounds and sequences.

yeah, very hit or miss for me too. mostly miss :D but now and then something happens i like. when i'm not in the mood to start something new i love loading up an old session and just changing all the instruments to totally different ones, but leaving notes and automation etc in place.. and see what happens.. that's what this one was, a mutation of an older track..

secret of mana!! cool.. it's been a long time since i played that, can't remember any of the music but i love the wild lush foliage vibe of that game

really like the crisp percussion here; all of the sounds really. Those subdued melodies in a background, tasty. Nice jam for sure.

My attention is split 100 ways right now too, so I know the feeling. I suppose doing quick jams here and there is better than no sounds at all.

Let me know if you find the secret to jettisoning everything getting in the way of music making lol.

Like your albums man! The calming yet unexpected elements of Animism, and how it makes you zoom in to these timbral qualities. Very meditative too.

And like the first track of Mossy EP especially, but gotta give the rest of the album more listens. Reminds me of De Léon (https://aught.bandcamp.com/album/03), with the mallets and clammy, compressed quality. The combination with more electronic, digital sounds adds really well too.

Keep it going and finish jurassic v4 please! :)

that jurate track is giving me so much trouble. i love it but can't get the frequencies to behave at all & can't replicate the feel of the rhythm with different instruments. i was fighting with it all last night. OH WELL. i really wanna put it on this simple little new EP i'm working on... will see...

Some really good stuff on this salts megamix, Wobbe. Glad you released it. It's got a certain vibe to it, so far,  that's really doing it for me.

hey thanks very much! i do quite like those old tracks, was surprised by how listenable i found it when compiling this, after not listening to them for years.. i feel like i've lost something since those days, used to find it a lot easier to.. dunno..just, get in a vibey creative headspace? aka being high all the time haha. i got old and got boring :D getting better at other aspects though so it evens out.

trying to finish a little album in the next week or so of which that is probably my fave track. it's all arpeggiated cheesy keyboard sounds + synth wind & string-ish sounds + simple drums also triggered with arps.. sort of my take on new age + fourth world music, or something. sort of.
