I'd recommend it over similarly popular but not EDM stuff. Vibes of 90s Plastikman, SAW 85-92, Chemical Brothers' harder club stuff, etc. It's still pretty slick, def not in the lo-fi house camp nor as dark or ominous as stuff off Blackest Ever Black or PAN.

I really liked drone logic cuz of those buzzy textures. 

Not near as good as Drone Logic. Very MOR.

I wouldn't call it dull but it's not essential either. Excellent but unmemorable (to others)? It was great enough for me to post about, I think it's a worth a listen but I wouldn't probably objectively call it AOTY by the time December rolls around.

Yeah I'd agree. It was pleasant initially but chances of me listening to it again are diminishing.

A disappointing follow up to Drone Logic, less impact all round really.

I'm going to boldy say a few tracks in this might actually appeal to WATMMers more than the actual album. Really heavy on 90s IDM vibes.
