You had to write it out and also provide audio and video samples.

I think I would take the PD route some others have suggested here. I think I would just make it a very simple patch, with only delay time and wet/dry as parameters and rely on the DAW's routing and filters to have feedback or advanced stuff. I would then use Camomile to wrap the patch into something easily usable in a DAW and you should be set.
