it's two parts, and while i have more i want to do to finish it up, my octatrack is acting up, so this is the finished product for now.

i think this worked out to have some pretty good moments.  what kind of style would one call this?  acid breaks?  IDM?

sounds of the jungle persuasion to me. dirty fuckin mood jjjjjjjjjj and some dirty break-work to boot, brings me visions of Tusken Raiders. good shit brother

made a long-form melodic banger.  i wanted to make something that moved between ideas without any of the transitions being too jarring or not making sense.  i think i did ok here.

thanks!  i've been calling it experimental techno, but maybe there's a better fit with another genre.

I'm working on some new material for my live shows, here's an early draft of some breakcore kinda stuff I'm developing.

been cranking out some simple tunes on my '80s / '90s hardware setup lately, i think this might be the best of the group so far.

here's a few more jams along the same lines:

some crunchy drum and bass on my octatrack.  i still need to figure out how i want to tame the comb filter so i'm not getting the distorted chunks here and there, but i'm happy with where things are going on my little sampler.

here's another recent tune i made on my octatrack:

it still needs tightening up in a few spots, but here's what i have recorded so far.
