Decent chap. But I don't really care. 

Say for example you were mowing your front lawn which you have been mowing for 25 years. Your out there one June morning giving it the once over and some annoying jobsworth bloke stopped you to tell you how to mow your lawn, what would you think? 

You'd be thinking it's time to jog on pal and don't tell me how to mow my lawn.

Maybe he knows of a really efficient lawnmower? Can't hurt to be open to suggestions, I guess ... 

(TBF, I'm not sure I get the metaphor. What does the lawnmower signify? What is the front lawn referencing?? Why June???)
