yeh.. so is this because this all happens in their performance system.. which has something which lets them transition easily between setups, because it’s built for live shows...? After careful consideration I've come to the conclusion that this is quite good.

ok, just listened to NTS2 in it's entirety for the second time all the way trough with headphones.

it's funny how i said they wouldn't exactly write operas some time back in this very thread.

well... now they did.

NTS2 - a space opera.

the way all of this comes together to one monumental behemoth of a record is just too fucking perfect to pick single tracks (although there are instant fav moments of course).

some times i caught myself just shaking my head uncontrollably in disbelief at the sheer accomplishment of it all.

basically it's just the best shit ever... again.

six of eight is so beautiful in that wonky, off-kilter way that autechre do so well. This music makes me very happy.

yes, THIS SO MUCH. there's so much going on harmonically in this track, always just hints in a certain direction, then another and your mind tries to tie shit together but it just can't keep the fuck up... the effect is beyond stunning.
