I went to this rich old dude's house

If you get rid of the rich you'll just end up with a new bunch of rich.  It's the system that creates the rich that's the problem.

Relentlessly mocking them while working to make them obsolete is more productive.

Yes, I believe seizing the means of production has something to do with it!

I can see why the rich are right wing. They live in cloistered worlds. They don't interact with common people unless they work for them. So no empathy is built.

It's a disease.

I'm so glad I'm poor :cerious:

Just wanted to thank everyone in this thread for making me listen to Deak KEnnedys records all morning (I'm working afternoon/evening today).

They sound fresher than they have in a long time.

yeah, no good stories about rich audio dudes and I'm from CONNECTICUT even

I met one guy with a roland drum machine but it was like a 505, not one of the cool roland drum machines. I was interested what kind of music it was used for but never really got to ask. I was at least hoping, EBM or something fairly unusual

and then everyone else just had Bose speakers pretty much. Most of it was that, rich people who /kind/ of like music but not really? enough to even know what to do with their money? So just buys the most expensive Bose stuff lolol

never found anyone with an aaron funk style modular dunjon, that would've been cool

Edit: I'm pretty sure most of them approached audio that way, mostly Bose, mostly treated life as an RPG where you just buy the most expensive sword (speaker in this case) and it's supposed to have the most attack power/sound power

Yeah, I am not old but certainly on a global scale I am probably considered rich.

Still, eat the rich.  :diablo:

Lol, truth. I remember getting a few guitar lessons as a wee lad and there were always a couple of midlife crisis weekend warriors with the most expensive Les Pauls or whatever, fumbling through AC/DC riffs, same kind of situation.
