i hate birds now, things have changed

Most birds seem alert, capable and aware of their surroundings. Pidgeons are not one of these birds. They saunter around in the middle of the road, and instead of taking swift flight at the sign of danger, they dawdle around in a confused manner before clumsily taking off.
