reminds me of when I saw autechre in 2015 - there was this guy at the front of the crowd in full 80s aerobic gear facing the crowd and doing step aerobics for the set. lol

edit: I think it was 2015, maybe 2014 I forget. I should have gotten a picture.

maybe the guy wasn't intentionally trying to attract attention to himself and just wanted to express his enjoyment of the sound of merzbow by frantically brushing his teeth, any attention attracted thus being an unintentional byproduct.

I envisage a compilation of tracks that follow this formula

A your B at a C concert

For example

Plucking your Eyebrows at a Venetian Snares concert

Could be a fun concept

Honking your nose at a Plaid jam.

Sucking your tongue at an Arovane show.

Goosing your hog outside of an AFX secret gig.

Uli has no chance.... butts is falling behind (heh)... living in a society is sadly losing badly... and it looks like Moths is going to be out after this round! Strange things happening here. This might be the end for many wonderfully IDM things. I just don't know how to feel about this all.

The reason for the above is because "Not posting on watmm for 2 years, but coming back to sway the vote in the 2018 most IDM contest" is winning.

But....

"A moth that is attracted to dark" is doing good, so its not all bad.

Yeah, darkness moth is dank af.  But if I had it my way we'd finally be getting our watmm nu metal comp this year.  That's kind of been my secret wish every year this poll rolls around, but it never makes it past round 1.

I need help identifying the bird, but I was in the Oregon woods today and heard a bird call that sounds like a delay pedal being shifted into a higher time division. Not sure if it's more idm or more shoegaze tho.

Could've been the dub siren.
