Avey Tare - Cows on Hourglass Pond

I’ve never been able to get past all the high frequencies in STGSTV

Danse Manatee is even worse with high frequencies, but I can deal with STGSTV except for the first track.

Just 2 listens, but i think this is the best album ive heard from avey or even animal collective in quite a while.  Just when I was starting to think ac was more of a college phase type love, this one is really sucking me back in!

Especially> Whats the Goodside, Saturdays, Taken Boy, and Hors are really amazing tracks!  I want to listen the album twice in a row but that would be inconsiderate to the 'ol roommates now wouldn't it.

The live versions of some of the tracks are even better. I hope he released a soundboard recording eventually. I picked up his Split Series #16 record with David Grubbs while in Brooklyn yesterday. Abyss Song is still one of his best tracks imo
