To be fair, QOTSA haven't put out a bad record, but Lullabies is where the quality of their discography starts to take a dip imo

Not saying I don’t like their other records, just that their self-tilted one and Rated R are definitely my faves. I don’t know, the stoner vibe might be more pronounced to my ears on these, and I love that.

Just listened to their Set Yourself on Fire album for the first time in probably more than 5 years.  It's damn good.  Slightly musical theatre tinted at points, but they do it very well/unabashedly.

when the melvins had the lineup with the big business guys, buzz and jared would do weird harmonies on every song, and all 4 of them would sing, sometimes. like a sludge, slayer beach boys.
