ambermonk
I'll admit that I survived the 2M acres of Alaska wildfires. But that brief period when the sky was all hazy from smoke, at least two days where temps reached 30 C, and many of us were getting sick due to said smoke...wasn't pleasant. But it's cooled back down now to more comfortable temps - hopefully for the year. I heard somewhere that the orbits of Venus and Jupiter have an effect on our climate patterns as well. And I recall the last two years having generally cooler summers here than 2016. But I'm no scientist, much less meteorologist or astronomer.
