the effort to sort of get that nice it was like uhhhhh why is the midi all locked to grid?! Arrrrrgh

If you have max for live you can also use the rotating rhythm generator that’s included in the cv tools pack. It has 4 channels that you can each assign a midi note, every channel has a clock generator, Euclidean rhythm generator, swing and phase. And you can rotate the channels. 
It’s a really great tool, didn’t find out about it until I got an es-3 and it made sense to install the cv tools pack.
