Cautiously optimistic... how many years has it been since Argento made a good movie? Wasn't a project announced a few years ago with Iggy Pop in a starring role?

Maybe the most overrated band in history, IMO.

They're alright. Style over substance, sure, but it's fun music.

Good artists create, great artists steal right?

This. First album was good, for a lot of french kids it was associated with the discovery of club music. Second album was a nice change of style (from rough Chicago influenced house to something more stylish and produced ? ) also their respective labels (Roulé and Crydamoure) were great. Everything else is weak IMO (and the fact that they're a national pride speaks volume about the state of modern french music...)

Discovery is the good album, yeah they've been coasting since then.  But their live show is legit.

Too many brown notes? 

Daft Punk live @ Tribal Gathering 1997 was probably one of the best gigs I have no recollection of.

Never got to see them live, hope they do another tour some day. Also want to see BoC live like that will ever happen

Come'on, the first album Homework is great, really great. And the second album Discovery there is no doubt in my mind is a total masterpiece. After those works I don't understand what happened but everything just went to the crapper.

We weren't sick, but the crowd was pushing so crazily my gf at the time got knocked down.  We had to stand on the trash bin to see.

I liked the TRON:Legacy soundtrack, and I enjoy Daft Punk in general (it's fun, well-crafted french pop), so optimistic on this.
