Social media companies commonly design their platforms in a way that renders them addictive. Some governments have declared internet addiction a major public health concern, and the World Health Organization has characterized excessive internet use as a growing problem. Our article shows why scholars, policy makers, and the managers of social media companies should treat social media addiction as a serious moral problem. While the benefits of social media are not negligible, we argue that social media addiction raises unique ethical concerns not raised by other, more familiar addictive products, such as alcohol and cigarettes. In particular, we argue that addicting users to social media is impermissible because it unjustifiably harms users in a way that is both demeaning and objectionably exploitative. Importantly, the attention-economy business model of social media companies strongly incentivizes them to perpetrate this wrongdoing.

Absolutely! Inject us with anything, right?

No cause for cause for concern that prominent vaxxer Bill Gates’ father was high up in the US eugenics movement.

No problem. No way, nope.

can you give the evidence of this, literally all the top results on google are random facebook groups and random seemingly religious conspiracy websites.  high up in the US eugenics movement?  "prominent vaxxer"?  what do these words mean? vaccinations are understood and worked on and with by hundreds of thousands of medical workers throughout the country, you think there's some grand conspiracy to kill us with vaccines?  they can do it simpler ways they don't need to trick us with vaccines.  get real man

Media Bias/Fact Check on the producer of the above "documentary", The Corbett Report: Conspiracy-Pseudoscience.

Overall, we rate the Corbett Report a Tin Foil Hat conspiracy and Moderate pseudoscience website, based on the promotion of 9/11 conspiracies, False Flags, Chemtrails, and Deep State conspiracies.

Founded in 2007 by James Corbett, The Corbett Report is an independent, listener-supported alternative news source. According to their about page “The Corbett Report is edited, webmastered, written, produced and hosted by James Corbett. James Corbett has been living and working in Japan since 2004.” They further state “It operates on the principle of open-source intelligence and provides podcasts, interviews, articles, and videos about breaking news and important issues from 9/11 Truth and false flag terror to the Big Brother police state, eugenics, geopolitics, the central banking fraud and more.”

He’s not a bug eyed conspiracy person, although he covers those topics.

Very well researched.

Watch and make your own mind up but don’t be duped by very powerful vested interests into believing they’re benevolent.

It’s beyond naive to trust the elite echelons in our society.

They are not humble, common folk.

Surely you recognise this?

I’m sorry to rattle your cages, to upset your world view.

It’s time to stop blindly trusting mass media and slurring those who challenge these fucks as nutters.

Politicians are corrupt liars and puppets; this is widely recognised.

Resist corporate control in any way possible because they are not looking out for our best interests.

This doesn’t necessarily mean all out revolution.

Passive resistance is a good start.

I was actually quoting Wolfgang Pauli, but linked to an article explaining the quote, should you have the need to do your own research.

I’m not sure how evil Bill Gates is these days, but overall you should never trust tha Zucks, Musks, and Bezos out there because their one true goal is to trap us all in a virtual global orgy where they can use mankind as a whole for their experimental tech fetishes. Think Island Of Dr. Moreau meets The Matrix meets Salo/Deliverance and you have every reason to be a little apprehensive.

I'm pretty sure they have no idea of the consequences of what they're doing. They just wanted to make a quick buck, make some cool shit happen with technology and are good at marketing.

It's all just a projection anyway.

And the only reason Silicon Valley in its  current form exists is that there were so many defense contractors there engineers could easily find a new job should their startups not work out.

So there you have it: lots of government money and a vast pool of techies with questionable morals.

I hate bill gates as much as the next guy and I hate the rich and elite in general just as much, but you've got the wrong reasons for doing it here venturing into pseudoscientific conspiracy theories.  heres a less conspiratorial deconstruction of his public image

What do actual Silicon Valley engineers think as they go about building their algorithms? The evidence is mixed but it suggests that many, if not most, engineers see themselves not as behaviorists but as choice architects. In his study of engineers designing algorithmic music recommendation systems, the anthropologist Nick Seaver finds that engineers do think that their users need to be “hooked” but hooking is merely the first step on a journey that has a whole lot of paths and destinations. Music recommendation engineers think about their relationship to music listeners in a variety of ways: as guides, as educators, and service providers.
