So naturally, being that SIGN is forecasted to be a radical departure from that prior style, the new album is more likely to be a folk/thrash/ska album, albeit in an abstracted form.  Like, duh.

I don't know if this is a proof against the Sean-album / Rob-album theory, but the copyright impressum in the Ae newsletter for SIGN reads like this...

I don't think anybody seriously thinks it's a Booth solo album.
