yeah... still chasing that dragon of hong kong -> polygon cities. and from the sound of this one, bobby is too. not doing much for me after two listens.

Quite a departure. Some classic Monolake nostalgia coming through, but there's a real love-letter-to-Kraftwerk vibe that permeates most of it. I don't dislike it; there are some beautiful atmospheres. I miss those Cinemascope/Gravity/Interstate textures, though.

Yeah very different to golden era Monolake, but as usual sound design is almost peerless here. Some very interesting tracks here that I’m sure will reward future listens from me.

This is an amazing album, simple but not simplistic; stark, evocative and emotive. Henke is still at the top of his game.

Yeah I get the sense a lot of people want Hong Kong 2. This is something completely different and pretty special IMO. It’s excellent.

Really enjoying this and think its a nice update to his sound, liking the more colourful almost 80s tinge to some of this.

And the sound design and fullness of the sound is top notch.
