post your favorite hi hats

lush hi hats? let's have em. here are some of mine:

simple but perfect imo:

this is like the perfect hi hat sound to me

this is lush, the hats sound like they're made of dandelions 

The hi hat pattern is so stuck in my brain that sometimes I kind of whistle it while doing something and it's been like that since the 90s

Thank you, they are made from coloured noise and are spectrally processed to the maximum. Only the most competent producers can achieve that.

(Xtal's might be the same as that Polygon Window track in fact?)

This should have been the very first thing I thought of 
 

When I think "hi-hat", this I always the first track that comes to mind. The way it mutates throughout the track, but especially from 4:50 onwards, when it sets in after the break, then switches gears a couple of seconds later, only to lift off into the ether. Gets me every time.

It's hard to find a version online that does the effect justice, but I you have an uncompressed version of the track you probably know what I'm talking about. You can sort of perceive it here:

Haha I was about to post PWSteal.Ldpinch.D. RDJ has amazing hi-hats programming, most of the groove of his tracks relies on it.

Tune, such a good album. Shame they never hit this level again (IMO) Hell on Earth was a good follow up, but there's not one duff track on The Infamous.
