this track made such a big impression on me when it first came out and I listened to it many times while living in a tiny attic apartment smoking weed by myself and being weird

yep yep Rytm Mk1 has been my go-to drum machine for years. i don't know that i love love the hi-hats on it but i've sure used them in tons of tracks and made them work. sometimes they're great for a track no matter....not about what you want but you've got eh? and they just updated the Rytm with some new hates i'm going to be trying out this weekend so maybe they're making my dreams come true

edit: back on actual topic tho, some cool 'hi hat' stuff in this one, constantly shifting around with that little tiny ball bounce

holy lol, I have to track that down, In Sides must be one of my all time top faves, but I can certainly imagine PETROL and The Box as game music.

Biggest offender I can think of is FSOL's Dead Cities (the track) which you could 100% sneak into one of the Command & Conquer soundtracks
