Material from the E8 sessions, kind a pre-album EP but I don't think it contains material from the album itself.

I say album, it's quite possible E8 will be a series of linked releases like the last two volumes. Been hearing some interesting rumblings from Brian about where it's headed.

And so we reach the end of the '90s, with the summer '97 transmissions seeing the group beginning to develop a psychedelic rock-inspired sound, and them starting up the EBV label.

And that's the end of a decade run of Brian and Gaz working on electronic music together. The future is very different.

Yes, I think about two-thirds of the fanbase disappeared between 2001 and 2003. I've had a few people say they've learned a lot from the latest vids because they didn't follow the era at all! That said, there's generally less material overall from this period, so I think there are only four more videos to go until we're back into FSOL mode in 2006.

Before that, a quick overview of the very brief promo campaign for The Isness.

My channel just hit 1,000 subscribers! Which is quite overwhelming. To celebrate, I've published the next video a few days early. Also, this is the last Amorphous video for quite a long time, with FSOL making a very long overdue return in the next chapter.

Good news, everyone, FSOL are back! Globular is such a ridiculously underrated release, I'm now going to start prodding Brian to get it on Bandcamp.

Would love very much to see this get a proper CD release, as believe was previously only released as a CDR.

There are bootleg CDrs around, it never got a proper physical release. Although my prodding worked and it's now on Bandcamp, so finally available in lossless.

This is so excellent.  Like an exploded view of Lifeforms.   I would love to get a 5.1 copy.

Absolutely - despite only being able to play it on my crappy living room speakers would be great if there was an ac3 or dts purchase option to hear it in the intended woosh-o-surround-o-vision

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.
