Hard to understand why people don't think these are good aphex tunes. And with people, I mean people who like aphex tunes in general. It's quality stuff. Very intricate to my ears.

Prediction and expectation might pplay a factor but is not the whole shabang of experience. Happiness is not a condition, it's a sensation and all fleeting thing like music / sonic waves rubbing against your feels and brains / is exactly that. Do not come up with notions of semantics that thsi reality doesn't serve. Your expectations will fail you. Be open godammit and let Richard put his tardigrade into you. Just accept it. like we all do. It's magnificent. Thanks to all the people involved to make this vision a reality and musing our brains. have a good one.

Also, it's not true that (at least for me) if it wasn't Aphex I wouldn't listen - maybe I wouldn't have found it as easily, but musicians I love have released shitty stuff I don't listen to... I think on the contrary, if I didn't know who made it and I heard it in a mix at a club, I would be loving it - but you know, believe that or not, who cares

I thought it was a jab at me for not thinking of Autechre as algorithmic, but it's hard to know on watmm who a jab is at or if it's even a jab at all

If this would be a double album released now, people would go wild. (if collapse etc would be unheard of until now) and, sure the autechre-quaristice-esque binding in of variation of the same track might be redundant but still the inclusion of bblr amb and parallax is crucial.  If Collapse never wouldve been released until now would you think differently being accompanied by these other tracks?
