Such devices are for formulaic approaches and we are the music makers that make our own approaches in dreaming the dreams 

It comes with the pot plant adapter so when on the bus you can still have the plant with you

there's been times when I'm traveling that I wanted something like this.. just a small device to jam around on. I think it definitely has its use case. The fact that it can also be a portable controller for live is probably more of a selling point for me than the standalone scratch pad stuff.  An interesting tidbit is the switch to an ARM processor in the unit... here's hoping that Push 3 upgrade kit comes in handy soon.

Device too big, display too small, flashing drum pads too flashy and big.

In my humble opinion.

There's no way that's going to fit in my ass.

Many users say that the Push 3 is unstable and has bugs. Why do they not checking that before releasing this? 

I guess you didn't look at anything about the Move? Because it isn't "just a controller"

Tempted to get this as a scratch pad for working out ideas without having to sit in front of a computer. The ability to load the result into Live proper makes this more appealing than a lot of similar grooveboxes.

A friend told me "Use the Clip view and make it vertical" 
But I can not understand how to do that? I just see everything in horizontal and I don't know how to change it.

I'm currently experimenting with directly inputing / editing MIDI notes with the computer keyboard (once you've toggled M to use the computer KB as a MIDI KB). it has somehow a tracker feel, and once you grasp the various shortcut it's quite pleasant and fast. Lots can be done without the mouse / trackpad, i still have a few to figure out so that's it gets fully ergonomic.

A tracker mode the Ableton way could be grand though.

Never heard of that, and I teach Live for a living. Genuinely interested if there's such an (hidden) option.
