Akkranen is a masterpiece.

First play today since the listening party. BOOM! What an absolutely brilliant album  

I loved the listening party. Now since it's on spotify; I have no idea what I listened to, it just doesn't stick. It's a blur, I'm sorry. Where am I? Let it sink in, soak it. I guess try again <executive function> I must.

I've been cycling to work lately and listening to this. Absolutely amazing album!!

I've been listening to this over the summer mainly on hikes, very good, energizing 

Listening to the record now at home in the office, will report on how it goes at home, cheers!

keeps shrinking on me

theres some great tracks for sure (Akkranren, Enbounce, Wendorlan) but overall the experience just doesnt feel satisfying idk whats wrong with it (me?)

also i still strongly dislike Holorform, those guitar solos feel the opposite of emotional to me

ok i just got to Domelash, easily my favorite here

I’m finding his releases over the past decade or so slightly longer are growers more than instantly gratifying; there are the odd tracks that hit that insta pusher dopamine button but the rest take a bit to sink in better. This isn’t a complaint. 

remember being extremely dissapointed with it at the time of release only because i was obsessed with the NTS mix and the unreleased orange methyl trax, but then i realised its good
fav's are wendorlan akkranen stromcor and domelash
entire's album nice and i really love the arkteon interludes

Wendorlan is worth the price of admission, and then there is Domelash 

.. and then...Duneray and Akkranen.. for that glove-dancing in the car vibes!

I bet Squarepusher will release either an EP or another album within the next year, just a hunch based on Dostrotime being made during COVID

i hope he does make another Shobaleader One record like he said he might on the Fantano interview
