AE_2022 is obviously gonna win everything.

Other notable releases that I really enjoyed this year were Hyperdrama by Justice (probably their best studio album yet) and Brat by the one and only Charli XCX !

In addition to those mentioned (like the ae deluge and the surprise topdown dialectic mystery reveal, which got me back to this total banger), these got a fair amount of play this year:

• Seefeel — Everything squared (lol just as I type this I get a warp email about a follow-up ep from the same sessions. Sounds like we're still lost in that haunted forest... I won't complain!)
• Skinnybones — Dagger Eyes
• Church Andrews & Matt Davies — Yucca. A simple, almost one-note recipe (what if Gabor Lazar-style fm but... jazz?) yet it hits just the right spot.

Hayden Pedigo's Live in Amarillo, Texas is absolutely outstanding. Other than that I didn't really listen to a whole lot of 2024 releases. Really looking forward to both MIKE and Panda Bear's new albums coming early next year (hope The Weeknd's new album is semi decent too I actually liked Dawn FM).
