2024 : Fav albums/EPs/Whatever

Shouldn't have forgotten about Grush either, the more I think about it the more music that I loved came out this year

Me too, his Carrier output is f'ing amazing.

I mention tracks, EPs, Albums, whatever. Not much going on. ae_2022 not important for me.

As for 2024 and the IDM scene, only these:

Not 2024, but I discovered their discography in 2024. Late to the party.

• Lorn, e.g. "sooner or later the sun is going down down down", that part 3:18 ff!... his opus magnum. In this context, the beautiful and effective use of voice in the IDM context, I want to mention exm's "Mr. Brown" - you should love it. Along with some pitch instability he brings in the voice.

these! NeX GEn coming out late May was such an awesome surprise, thought it wouldnt come out for another 3 years. But here it was, all of a sudden! And it's only grown on me since the surprise release. I hope PH3 is as Electronic as Oli said it would be 4 years ago

As a die-hard fan of "Healing Music of Rana" by Randall McClellan, I have to say that "Music for a Bellowing Room" sounds—whether intentionally or not—like a continuation of McClellan’s legacy. Highly recommended.
