Autechre mixes on BBC Radio 6

Looks like Autechre are putting out some mixes on Radio 6 over the next week, starting 9th December:

Yep I think a mix a night for 1 week.

6 Music's Artist In Residence will be a journey into the musical soul of an artist, based around a theme or mood. Each episode finds the host playing records that have informed specific periods of their life.

TBH their collection of old electro records have been pretty thoroughly explored by now.  Rob's been out DJing with some banger sets recently so I'm hoping we'll get some stuff a bit more like that.

Praying for a hip hop mix, it seems that they're big fans of NY boom bap but I always wondered if they like southern rap.

this also made me curious, have never associated them with pink floyd, although they got some good synth sounds. I wonder if they will old play track from when Syd Barret was in the band or something classic like this
