make stupid threads i might, but my friend, i do my best work when i'm just playing around. i don't write songs, i play around with cubase for hours, then get serious for a bit.

it's hard for me to tell if my sporadic outbursts bug people (internet? inflection? what?). i post the stuff i do mostly because i enjoy writing it, which means i could take it elsewhere if it were really bothersome... but i would be severely disappointed, because where else would people even vaguely understand a thread like this?

totally wrong. Autechre is extemely emotional for me. Maybe some of the most emotional music I've heard. That's the magic of it man, if you only see a cold system in their music I'd say it's lost on you and I feel sorry for you bud.
