Aphex Twin Aphex Twin - Perc #6

this track is from OR SOME COMPUTER MUSIC, it's an electronic album more in experimental, realesed in 1999, aphex twin made perc # 6 when i listen it, i saw another face of him... it's amazing!! he used all kinds of drums/percussions, this track is fantastic, we can listen a few ambient, a few electronic music, a few Jungle, etc. with to end behind noise melody as if there is a lot of wind... this track is one of a kind he made!!! Who has listen it? i want 2 know ur impressions

but 4 all they haven't listen it, it's just because i want 2 know ur opinion! ;-)

possible! but music of Flex is longest than Perc #6, maybe a long version... or aphex reworked it... don't know... only, there is right there is a similar sound between Perc #6 & music of Flex...

I've got the Or Some Music compilation with this track on it.........perc #6 is well wicked.

Perc6 is probably one of my favorite afx tracks. It's completely unique.

Yeah, in parts; the very first few seconds is used in flex.

I still think it sucks ass !

4 me, it's interresting 2 know the vision of each artist in electronic music, because don't forget, there r more style in electronica!!!

well the music is this compilation can be a bit extreme noisy but there are 2 mighty (& long) trx: fabulous paris (collage/concrete of a modern metropolis) & a vocodered version (like HAL during a late night depression) of a german poem ; that compilation wont please everyone but i like it

i also like this album, very interresting as compilation! ;-) i want the part. 2, hope 2 find it (in euro, it's more easy 4 me!)

A weird coincidence, AST, as I received a copy of this CD in the post yesterday after finally getting off my arse (so to speak) and ordering it. I agree with you completely, Perc #6 shows a whole new aspect of RDJ. Not listened to the rest of the CD properly yet, but it also seems like one of the more accessible tracks on there.

In my opinion, he's had some decent stuff put out on compilations over the years.
