Said it before last time and I'll say it again this time, I find it odd warp don't release these new tracks (the 5 from the last 2 tour eps that hadn't had a digital release) on their website in wav/flac to buy before or least at the same time as streaming services

he said something about releasing the tracks from soundcloud on metal tapes. guess these will be coming very soon now

I find it odd as well - why is the itunes store link there but nothing on warp. I dont want to buy from itunes. I would even prefer bandcamp but pls not itunes

Why do you say that? He says lots of things that are either horseshit/spoofs/jokes or he doesn't follow up on, he's had the soundclown section on his site for years and never did anything with it

I don't follow Aphex nearly as obsessively as Autechre so I'm excited to listen to this, not sure if I've heard any of these before.

he said he would release the soundcloud tracks in a proper format and also on metal tapes. this looks for me like the first proper format. it would also explain why warp is still holding back.

Should I not buy music from iTunes? Do they take a big chunk of the profits?

you can buy where you want - I just find it odd that they are currently the only store selling the files - at least aphextwin.warp.net should have them no?

But warp released all of these tracks before now, they just compiled this lot that they had already published 

Maybe they will do the whole lot I don't know, I was surprised it took them this long to put these last 5 tracks out in a non vinyl format now

Yeah they should, was just curious if iTunes is a big no-no for those in the know...

They might do what they did with the last couple and add them tomorrow just after releasing them on streaming sites, seems a bit of an odd way to do it, hard to second guess the reasoning of warp/bleep sometimes 

I see this discussion every time there's a rollout on different platforms. Just give it some time.

Itunes are only selling music in their stupid .m4a format

theyll be on the warpstore at the regular time, in around 6.5 hours if my memory serves me correctly. theyve planned this release in advance, so physicals may go up too. im thinking maybe a small run 2cd set but it depends

jealous. Some crazy good stuff on here to hear for the first time. And a lot of it is pretty experimental too so it might be up your alley.

there's usually unreleased bonus trax with each new release

If u search on Soulseek this release it is different users uploading the FLACs but every user have the Flacs in way different sizes.. What is going on???
