The tracks are the same ones as the previous.. Load up a track from Field Day and compare it to the new ones.. Exactly the same track. 

This is 100% milking.. Nothing new here. 

First listen-through, I'll get back in about three hours - haven't really cared about these tracks while they've been (legally) unobtainium, so hearing most of these for the first time.

Very nice that he did this compilation and heartened to see some of these tracks finally reaching a wider audience.

A few of the tour 12"s (Houston 16, Madrid & London 23) I'd previously only heard off of vinyl rips from Soulseek so hearing these tracks mastered in HQ is opening up lots of new details and is giving me a new level of appreciation. Cheers Rich and Warp.

Bro a lot of people aren't die hard aphextwin.warp.net checking people like us. Just like Chosen Lords he put this out so the masses/ the less big superfans of his can check out these tunes. It's nice for them because they have 2.5 hours of "new" material to check out. be happy for those people! It's nice to have all the tracks in one place, you dont have to buy it, they didn't announce this project at all so you didn't even know it was coming. It's not milking because there hasn't been a months long release schedule attatched to it. We would all love a new afx project but it is at least nice to see that he is still active and putting out things for the masses.

So far I've heard 3 of these tracks before... 

and I probably would have never heard the other 35 tracks without this release 

A decent number of tracks on this are surprisingly not on an an LP or EP, I wonder what kind of style his next LP or EP will be like...

With all due respect this release is a compilation titled Music From The Merch Desk (2016 - 2023)

There's a lot more tracks from 2016-2019... maybe that means he is working on a style that's different then this collection more recently...?

I thought this collection was stuff he made post late 90s/early 00s? Is it an older track you think?

I have a lot of these tracks in flac on my Sony Walkman, so they were available on his bleep store I guess. Just nice to have them on Spotify. 

He has been playing Nightmail in his live sets since around that time. The Spiral Staircase mix is from about 2004, and then Pretend Analog, Rozboxx and Midipipe were all featured as bonus tracks on Deejay Selek 2006-2008. Not sure about Atlantis. Everything else is post Syro I presume.

You can probably date the Atlantis track if you can find out when the Intellijel Atlantis modular synth was released.

Have all.these but some in pretty shitty quality & cool to have them all together..but yeah like others have said this release isn't really for the die hard fans there will be loads of people that haven't heard any of these so it makes sense to release it for them, not everyone who listens to aphex is obsessive geeks like us you know!

It's a compilation of tracks sold at the merch desk of live gigs from 2016-2023, it's not a clever anagram of his dogs name.

You were in this exact thread "Music From The Merch Desk (2016-2023) [compilation]" a couple of days ago pointing out to other people that these are old tracks and here you are giving out about the tracks being the same as the tracks released previously
