I find interesting that, as some other artists, like Tim Hecker and Vladislav Delay, it seems they "gave up" in some sense to capitalism savage rise, like releasing angry, apathetic music or by flowing with pop aesthethics like that cover, even if it is intended as a "le phunny joke". Autechre is still fighting tho, pushing futurism and such in their music and art.

Ive not heard a bunch of these so will be a nice compilation. The field day tracks are excellent though

looks to me like the "Chosen Lords" concept where he put the analords into an easy to digestable  format so people who are not vinyl collectors or megafans can easily access them

Will be real nice to have these in a mastered digital format.   I probably have most of these tracks scattered around, never being listened to.
