yeah i mean where did she get the picture from... i hadnt seen that before.

THAT WOULD BE TELLING.

That Wiard synth up above is lovely. They just look so beautiful as well as sounding so beautiful. One of these days I'll actually order one but the idea of their being custom hand built for you is just too lush.

He does stuff with a band (Vietgrove I think?) and also solo stuff just making awesome Tangerine Dream style wub from that machine. He's definitely on MySpace if you want to hear samples of what that setup can do.

There isn't much of a picture but if you want to hear some of the most brutally intense sounding noise put on tape you should check out an improv released a few years ago with Skinny Puppy and Genesis Orridge , with a couple members of TG, called Puppy Gristle.

The gristlizer, one of the many boxes made by Chris Carter, makes a prominent appearance, ... the thing sounds incredible when fed a few sources. It's nothing but a mangler but it is something synth/noiseheads need to hear. It's some of the most intriguing improv I've heard anyway.

Brainwashed gives a good review: http://www.brainwashed.com/weddle/reviews/gristle.html

Yeah puppy gristle is awesome. I got that 2 disc set that had the whole extended thing on it some years back. Some great sounds and synths going on in there.

It's funny, my best friend is MASSIVE Skinny Puppy fanatic. It's never really been for me, but I certainly have respect for what that lot have been doing. Funny that there's a crossover.

I think Chris Carter is probably massively underrated as a knob-twiddler. There's just such a huge body of work there that I don't really know where to start!

Puppy Gristle is a lot different than skinny puppy. It's more like a wonky version of "Download". No ohgr vocals, just random murmuring and voice samples. It is pretty epic.

Download has a lot of tracks that are outtakes of PG (most of the Charlie's Family album). You could call me another one of those fanatics  The production work they did in the late 80's was revolutionary.
