I assume the only 2 stages that will close at 12 will be Glade stage and the origin stage. Which suits me, as last year I missed AE because I was too monged to stay awake for them and passed out after Knifehandchop, so I might get to see the headliners this year and I fucking hate psytrance and wouldnt care if they closed origin all day.

That's the way I understand it - the new Vapor tent isn't even supposed to open til midnight (and run til 4am on fri and sat)

I got a ticket in the end, thanks to longtime friend and WATMMer Gazztron. We have to have the watmm camp! I met so many watmmers last year, nice guys like Idiron (who I'd already had a good night with at the mu 100), Blutac came over to our camp for a brief smoke, and I met some other watmmers like vibertisgod who I didn't even know were watmmers until we came back here. Basically my point is that we should all overcome our internet nerd shyness and all cut loose and get wasted together. I hope there's some sort of equivalent to last year's 4am Autechre slot. That time was perfect - dark outside, all the less hardcore resigned to sleep in their tents, big blunt smoked, rum and coke drank, brain thoroughly probed by the dark minimal madness of the boys from sheffield. Did the recording of that set ever surface?

I'm getting ridiculously excited about this already and there's still three months to go!

bought my ticket, not too sure about the license seems like their gonna have a job after 12 satisfying people. Clark and VS is a very good start, as is bangface being present again, but does this mean the days of aphex/squarepusher level headliners is over? Autechre was a treat last year, Id be fairly confident they'll have something else to pull out yet. Definetly up for a smoke with the watmmers!

We definately need AFX or AE this year to play the 2-4am saturday night slot that has been the highlight of the last 3 years!

I'll never forget looking around at the half-empty main stage during Autechre last year and seeing everyone abolutely mindblowing fucked by the music and passed out on the floor.. or the AFX set at the first year when large gatherings of people were leaving the tent to throw up due the the sonic pressure and intensity of the music he was playing...

awww, it was lovely iain!

i really do think we should all meet up with our respective crews though - if we all did so then itde be epic. by association our final campsite could be 50 metres in diameter and itde just be all really lovely and nerdy and electronic music. i know well be doing this to some extent but everyone else should just say fuckit and join us.
