Aphex Twin "Strange Days" Millennium party rave

I was reading the Wikipedia article on the movie Strange Days (fantastic flick, by the way) and I learned something interesting I haven't heard before:

I was at this show. Richard didn't play live he dj'd mostly detroit stuff if I remember right. There were fucking loads of people there as you can see in the movie. I do remember while he was playing some Mexican MC getting on the mike and yelling at the crowd "Give it up for The Aphex Twins!!" and cringing inside.
