I have to admit my submission is thoroughly hypnotic, psychadelic, ambient, intense goodness. Except for the last track. It's kind of a throw-away. :laughing:

do you understand the new login of archive.org ??? do you need to retype a new "project" for every upload, or is every release supposed to be under that one particular one ? i didnt understand the new rules properly.

on a serious note: how many folk here actually play fair? it seems like some are just using p168 as an opportunity to dump out all their ongoing works in progress. if you're telling me someone can write 15 tracks in a week, i'm the next fucking pontiff.

yeah, ive wondered this before. not so much with quantity of tracks, but the quality seemed so good on a lot of peoples ep that it was hard to believe only 1 week spent working. but in the end, i think few if any cheated.

i didnt want to spoil anything, but honestly about half of the album including one 20 minute long track is either improvised live or was generated using one of my reaktor chaos based sequencers. The more richard devin-ish songs were 100% randomly generated in layers with reaktor, then composited back together using cubase. This is what id call a mostly noise/ambient album with some electronic music and 80s beats briding the gaps (one 2 minute mortal kombat song was a work in progress that i decided to finish for the ep but otherwise its all completely new material). let me know if anybody likes.

to be totally fair , i just took two songs off the ep that i started working on previous to p168, so now it clocks in at 75:42... still not a proper ep length but oh well.

ill upload the excluded tracks to the p168 bsides thread in a little bit.

I've sometimes felt like taking up an old track and develop on it but it made me feel bad and I didn't like what I heard so I made something entirely new.
