Yea, cheating at something like project 168 is fucking lame. I tried but couldn't pull off writing anything decent last week, I easily could have used old track but that would have been an unjust move.

Just to be honest, I had one SINGLE melody I had done like a single week ahead of time, but seriously, that was 3 notes. C, C#, then C.

Me and my mate wrote and recorded 15 tracks in 3 days while I was on my Christmas break.

So, if I wasnt fucking working last week - no problem!

Of course, if I wasnt working, I'd be stuck with crappy software like all you unemployed bums instead of all my cool gear that cost me $$$$$ that I got from working... so well, um..

yea, i wrote and finished about 9 or 10 tracks in the week.

i had a lot of sleepless nights, and the music really does sound to be like i recorded it at 4am...all dark and eerie...

mostly cos it was.

but yea, i love these projects. i get writers block for weeks, and then these projects come about, and i spend literally all my time thinking about ideas for new tracks, cos i feel so motivated.

however my ep is patchy on a few tracks, as far as i'm concerned...

i did 3 trax, the ones i did at nite came out dark

72 eps. lots of listening to do. not to mention the work you have yet to do. are you sure you dont want to break this into 4 parts? release 18 at a time, once a week, for four weeks. or something like that.

obvious reasons why that would be an unpopular idea.

you can download 18 a week if you want. there's no hurry just because all the releases will be up.

Posting your ep before it's released on 168.co.uk will decrease the amount of comments recieved on the guestbook. ie: people who've commented here are not likely to go to the site and make the same comments again

makes sense, i didnt realize at the time.

the first 2 eps were done in the week specified or under, and this one

I had 2 tracks that were fodder incase everything went wrong, but then so did everyone. and i didnt use them, hopefully like everyone.

The 8 tracks that I made in the last week were not cheated, and I think it is entrirley possible to make a release in a week, if you love making music then 168 hours is alot of time and fun, so come away with that, and anyone who doubts it, fuck em
