Geez, I'm already in counseling and on 5 medications as it is.

Plus, like some others have said, I don't believe half of what some electronic artists say about their gear, unlike guitarists who leap at the opportunity to tell us all about their small army of vintage les pauls, tv yellow sg signed by elliot easton of the cars and Narb half-stacks.

Ok, so I did a fragment of the boneville occident amen. No bass or extra fx effects, just the raw amen to compare betwen those. So focus only on the production.

I didn't modified anything just to let everyone try to get a similar sound out of it, but I tried throwing a compressor, eq'ing, etc, and it always sounds weak compared to the real one.

no, go plastic was the first one he did using a computer as well, the albums before were hardware only. I remember reading an interview where he talked about how the profits of the first few albums had allowed him to buy a computer and how he was loving the new found freedom, allowing him to take his music on go plastic to an even more intricate level. there are pics on the net of his studio at this time, and at the centre of it is a pc.
