I think he is on his own level, but I think at times he can sound a little like...

I think The Flashbulb is probably the most blatant Aphex clone out there. His music is great....but the guy must feel some shame.

I highly suggest his "Bacchanale." It was the first piece ever written for prepared piano (in fact, prepared piano was invented for the piece), and it's a brilliant dance number composed for Merce Cunningham. In addition, I also suggest works such as "Suite for Toy Piano" and "Imaginary Landscape No. 4."
