i think it's a great album; very dark, though... marks a nice contrast in the µ-Ziq catalogue.

to answer the original question...

the album is complete shit.

i will admit that i have never held µ-ziq in very high regard, but this is a new low... even for his career of mindblowing mediocrity.

after several listens,i dare say it's a masterpiece.

it's strange and different ..pretty nice

Its a weird album for me. No particular track stands out above the rest, but they are all very good. I don't find that to be the case with many albums. Great cd to listen to all the way through, I think the tracks all really compliment one another.

well, i'll admit, while this isn't mike's greatest work, I DO like it. It's also a grower people, so don't dismiss it after a listen or two. Really sit down and LISTEN LISTEN to it. With headphones if you must. Sure, it's no all drilly and such but it has a certain sound about it... nauseating (in a good way...) at times, sad at other times...

I don't know. It's good shit imho.

goes to show how much they know - it's not his 8th album but his 7th!

i think that mike, out of all the top UK electronic musicians, has really lost it more than any other (with the exception of plaid maybe?)! his recent albums have lost the plot and i'm not even keen at all on what he's done with planet mu either! i hate most of what that label releases! it's a shame because most of what mike did between tango and lunatic was ground-breaking, experimental and fresh for the day. now his stuff just bores the pants off me!!

there are some vocal samples though I think.

which previous muziq album would you most say it's like?

The whole album sounds like Aphex's Hedphelym

I like it. I didn't really appreciate Billious Paths
