Computer Controlled presents…

SEQUENCE - CC39

15th September 2007

10:00pm till 4:00am

£6/£7 ON THE DOOR

Special Guests:-

The Black Dog LIVE (Warp, Soma, Dust Science)

Rob Hall (Skam, Gescom)

Residents:-

Computer Controlled, Mark 'Turbo' Turner & P45

The Black Dog are regarded as one of the most influential artists in the British electronica scene, synonymous with the rise of electronic music in the UK. Their classic albums from the early nineties literally created new fields of music… taking Detroit techno, warping it and smudging the boundaries, making them early pioneers of UK techno.

Manchester’s own Rob Hall has played Sequence regularly since we first opened our doors in 2004. Since his 1992 debut supporting Autechre in London, Rob has gone on to play some of the most celebrated venues in the world sharing the billing with the likes of Aphex Twin, Bjork and Jeff Mills and touring with Autechre as their official warm up Dj.

September also sees the return of P45… our new monthly resident Dj and the brains behind the massive Room 237 events in Leeds.

One of my mates is going to York Uni next month - would Leeds be the nearest place for a decent night or is there anything else going on up there?

Leeds is always a safe bet for a good night out. Think I'll be up there a lot this winter!

It's too orangey for crows!!!

Trains run through the night on this route

Manchester - Huddersfield - Leeds - York

Every 2 hours so you can get back if you go to nights at either Manc or Leeds, I live in Huddersfield and its works out nicely. Would like to go to more of these events but dont fancy em solo and my friends dont enjoy it, but heres hoping for the Vibert & Surgeon Nights

Ha, just the pigtails mate... The hat is a plain old beanie I'm afraid, and one which is reserved only for cold winter nights so it's unlikely to make an appearance!
