i was reading through this thread to see if anyone could point me to some major restrictions that garageband may have, as opposed to say, logic (pro). now i'm sure it would help if i were to define to you what direction i would like to take my sound in, but i have no idea, i'm all over the place with my ideas of what i'd like to compose. could anyone point out for me some definite pros/cons of garageband vs. logic? i think at the moment i'm looking for something that does a little bit of everything. i've had reason before and i really didn't like the interface, all it did was just make me wish i had all the actual hardware as oppsed to trying to twiddle virtual knobs with a mouse.

some wise man once told me that black devil disco club used garageband... that's enough to inpsire someone who maybe only has access to garageband.
