Can't decide on whether to go to Brooklyn or Cambridge... Meat Beat Manifesto is in Nyc the following week so more than likely I'll go to Autechre in Cambridge and MBM in Nyc. I'm located practically in the middle of the respective venues for those that give a shit.

FYI: Brooklyn show is now sold out, a full three weeks before the date. Those in other cities may want to get tickets before it's too late.

I got my ticket to see Autechre at the Middle East back in February, so I've got nothing to worry about.

As of now, the April 14th show in Cambridge isn't sold out yet. Though, I have a feeling it will, so my suggestion would be to get your tix as soon as possible.

I met Arbee yesterday night, w00t! Anyway, Rob Hall and Massonix were not so bad, but it was sooooooooooo long... It took 3 hours for Autechre to finally perform, damnit. I managed to approach the scene as there were holes in the crowd during Rob Hall's mix, haha! So when Autechre came, it was so unreal to see me so close, I can't describe it... They were hidden behind a few speakers (plus the darkness, lol) so they were ridiculously shy or something. A lot of people were dancing, including a little chick wearing a handbag. I wore earplugs during the whole concert, it was so loud. I would have died if I kept my ears naked!

Briefly, Autechre were amazing!

Montreal show : typical of the AE tour. Dense and textured. I prefered the 2005 tour, as this was perhaps too much textured to appreciate as a single 1-hour show. The massive bass hid stuff out of the mix.

Massonix was there just to make us appreciate AE even more ;)

THere was a guy in a Jedi robe and sandals (with socks) dancing just near me.

Yeah, I think I saw him, lol! Did you see that nerd jumping like a tard in front of the scene at the end of Autechre's performance? I was behind him, he was scary... -_-

There is more than one chick with a handbag in the world, you know. The one I am talked about was very short, wore glasses, had kinda mushroom-shaped hair and was a bit chubby (I think). Is she really your girlfriend? She was dancing near the scene, though.

Autechre brings out some really questionnable people out of their cave. Like that Jedi, he was 1 person across me during all the show. Dead middle dead center, dancing like a freak, kick-dancing and all.

And my ex, it's all you described but not chubby (100lbs ain't chubby). She was up front there. Guess it might not have been her, but she was there.

About the pics... uh no lol.

Usine C Autechre in 2005 was much better imho. Better night (with SND), better sound, better AE set.
