That "updated" version of Angry Dolphin I think is the original take on the track. The one on Trainer/Clear 12'' is the Drum 'n' Bass variant, while the other one was played out on "The Black Dog Live in Stockholm 1995" (as well as those compilations mentioned) which was a Techno track.

i'm glad no one mentioned my all time fav plaid track... BUDDY! i'm listening to it now and to me, it's one of the most amazing tracks of the last 10 years. that track never gets old for me. i was even going to start a thread about how amazing this track is, but i found this thread and decided to post here instead!

A lot of the Plaid tunes I enjoy always have that momentous synth moment about three quarters through the track, like in Coat at 3.32, and in Last Remembered Thing at 2.54. It's like that trademark Plaid climatic synth ending.

This is one of the reasons I enjoy listening to Plaid, and another demonstration at how unique their music is.

probably eyen but this thread makes me want to revisit and catch up on some plaid.
