wait no. Two people are already on a "waiting list" ahead of Glass Plate. So I already promised them that they could have a scene when someone drops out.

But I don't see any problem with allowing mcbpete switching scenes since he has been in it for a while. So I will post a new list in a few minutes I think.

I don't remember him posting in here. Did I miss it? I don't think he pm'ed me either. I'll add him to the list if he wants.

No. it's inconsistent. Some people get bracketed with others and have to fight for your amusement to be involved at all, others go on a waiting list, others just get to make their scene and chill, still another person comes along late and gets neither the waiting list nor the gladiatorial combat, just a scene to himself straight away.

with the exception of a few scenes, all scene assignments were random. Those who were assigned two to a scene were not done so for our "amusement", but instead because Squee and I did not want to intentionally exclude anybody. If we wanted, we could have just cut it at 23 straight and got rid of the five extra people. But we didn't. I made a waiting list because Squee and I felt it would be best to close registrations so that we didn't continually have people expecting to get an assignment into May and June. If one of the doubles drops out, someone on the waiting list will be assigned to the doubles. It is all random. And those who have to "compete" will not be subject to the judgement of Squee and me, but instead a vote by everyone.

My flatmate actually already did that scene of the machine transforming, for a school project. She's an audio engineer, so it turned out really nicely.

I'll see if I can steal it and up it here.

BTW I am super excited to see how this turns out.....

im not giving up entirely, i may work to improve the track later but i dont want to hold up this project with something i might not get around to doing.
