I'm just getting done listening to this set as I type and I am just speechless.

Some of the finest Ae I've heard, ever!!!!

A lot of people say that Tri-Repetae was the height of their output.

I don't think they've even started.

This recording (as well as some of their other live shows) shows a crazy mastery of beats and rhythms. Not to mention being done Live, on the fly. I'm just in AWE of their abilities to create music like they do. Some of the busiest and most intricate beats that just fall into place, on so many occasions in this set. WOW!!!

Recordings like this give me goosebumps, they can still do "It", they can still take you "There".

I can't imagine how insane it was to See and Feel this set Live.

Thank You So Much For Sharing This With All Of Us.

oh shit this is amazing

It gets pretty weird/funkadelic around 17:50, I love those dented metal sounds.

yeah... this set in real nice. of course nothing compares to actually feeling their sonic sculptures in person. i still get the feeling of being there whenever i listen to this set.

one of my fav parts is the build up from 8:35 to 9:19 when the snare comes in on the 2 and 4. so sick.

Those sounds form the bones of a WICKED drum 'n bass line for a short while. That little segment gave me a huge grin on my face. It was like looking in a musical dictionary under d 'n b and hearing a perfect example of it. From 17:55 to 18:16 were moments of musical perfection. Almost like Ae saying "Listen to this people, THIS is how you do it". The great thing is there are SEVERAL snippets like that in this set, moments of sonic brilliance.

I just listened to that part and I agree wholeheartedly. It sounds like a convergence of the sounds coming together all of the sudden to give the beat a life and forward momentum. Once again, another case of disparate sounds "falling" into place all at once and (running out of colorful anecdotes to describe the music, must be time for sleep).

people who carry on conversations during concerts should be shot in the face.

i have never, ever, EVER understood this behavior. it is one of the rudest, most retarded things a person could ever do in this life.

the band is blasting at top volume. they are in your town for one night. you won't have another chance to see them for years. you paid money to get in there and see them... and yet while they are playing you are shouting into somebodies ear, trying to have a conversation with some person you probably see all the time, while they band is playing and other people around you are trying to enjoy the concert.

there are few things in life that irritate me more, and i hear these fuckheads yapping on and on during practically this entire bootleg and ruining the whole thing. seriously - what the fuck is wrong with these people? why are we not allowed to shoot them in the face? it should be completely legal to do so.

The recording that used to be on the WATMM downloads page of Autechre live in Portland in 2001 has people arguing through the first two tracks about whether or not it's Autechre because "This doesn't sound like their album stuff."

I find it amusing, really.
