Yea, this is from a link I posted in the Quaristice thread. Just a list of what they still keep around and readily use I suppose, while everything else is retired.

 

 

I'll be getting a nord modular soon, and then I'll look into a DMX drummachine and maybe some of those reverbs because AE are the master of reverb. Quaristice contains quite a lot of monomachine reverb.

They used to just use whatever mixer the club had, but I remember reading in an interview that they sometimes wished they had their mackie with them, so I don't know if they bring that with them or not.

mackie mixer is with them on live tour!

On the Untilted tour, Rob also experimented with some midi controllers. One was this black one, we identified it and posted it before, but I don't know if he still uses it.

 

 

yea, he still uses it. Just looked at a photo.

 

audioease altiverb would be a good starting point for reverbs, you can get IR files for other famous reverbs (lexicon, eventide, etc) to emulate them.

thats odd they would specifically mention Kyma X reverb and nothing else on the kyma. i also recognize a lot of very Eventide sounding effects on Quarisitce, but i supposed it could be something else that does very similar sounding granular pitch delay.

they/you seem like they are leaving a shit load of their effects processors (software mostly) out of this list.

That list is on the last page of the interview, and I think it's just what the magazine writer just compiled all that he'd gleaned from the process of talking to them. So chances are that's just the stuff they mentioned while commenting on a specific topic. I mean the 828mkIII built-in DSP reverb is listed, but not the actual interface itself. So these are just the things they felt like there was something to say about I guess.

Did they mention which version? I can't remember when it was added, but the new "mpReverb2" built in is really nice, the "color" slider really adds quite a bit to the sound, its really nice.

I think I'm the only member who doesn't own or tinker with any "gear." I feel left out to be honest.
