they release extra versions by "milking it" i couldnt afford the ultra rare version with bonus tracks so i wont pay for any of it. they are saying that you are only worthy of getting everything if you pay a ridiculous price. i wouldnt have minded if the ultra bonus version were available via bleep for download, but its not. i find it very disrespectful.

there's no judgement of worthiness here. autechre is not personally attacking you by releasing a limited special edition of an album. you're free to spend your money however you like. it's a special edition. it's limited. that's all it is. there are lots of things in this world that are expensive and limited. there's nothing disrespectful about it.

really you just seem bitter that you don't have it and have constructed a fantasy around it to make the whole experience more emotionally satisfying.

well actually i DO have it, you see i've a kind friend C: i dont like the choice here i find it disrespectful, so what you say? that means i'll download it. i wouldnt be opposed to donate some money to AE, though not nearly as much as they ask for the 2CD set, but theres no method to do this. you cant give money to your favorite artists for their music, instead you have to pay a rediculous price for a package, pay the record company and AE gets 30% of the total cash you spend if you are lucky. good thing i dont think like a masochist or i'd be broke my friend!

got the cd, the flac, the downloads, the 2 disc set, an lp on the way, er, tickets and tour shirts... the only thing i minded paying for was the gas for the 12 hour drive to see them in chicago!
