i've only completely listened to unstoppable and it reminded me a lot of medusa's path. i dunno, they just sounded similar to me.

i do agree that it's bland compared to the other albums, but it's still better than most of the generic big beat chemical brothers knockoff shit out there.

lol it's not that great, Unstoppable did not make it on the album according to the tracklist released.

The new track is being played on Radio 1 very soon, I think at about 19.30. Immediatley afterwards, the track will be free to download off their website for 7 days. Looking forward to it, this will really be it for them, I reckon it's their last album and for a career spanning almost 20 years, they need to go out with a bang.

sounds like hadouken/justice. not massively impressed. hate the cheapy cymbal crashes.

Yep just heard it on the radio and it's not great. I thought Liam was going old skool > I interpreted that as old analog synths would be used, but this sounded way over digitised with the latest equipment on the market. I would have rather heard Warriors Dance to be honest, that should have been the first release in my opinion.

Having said that, the only good thing about the track is the use of the vocal sample - I knew it would be a very sci-fi themed the album. I don't know why i bother to care anymore, Liam has lost it.

the guy can afford any gear he wants. if he used an eventide orville and a synthi hooked up to a sherman quad filter and processed thru kyma you'd all bitch that the only reason it sounds cool is because he's using shit out of everyone else's reach and budget.

Sounds like he didn't even bother making half decent patches in Reason or whatever he used in this track, add that with the lazy melodies and drums... the youtube clips don't sound that great either but then again if we get another track like "Girls" I'll be happy.
