I didn't mean to imply there's anything wrong with that. The clothes look good on you. It looks like a uniform on me, what with my beard and all, is what I meant, with no offense.

And I meant Hasidic as opposed to Orthodox, more specifically. Kind of miss-spoke. Apologies. I know there are many differences far beyond just dress there and sort of don't know why I just wrote Orthodox. I look like a Hasidic Jewish man with a dark jacket and no tie. Is the no-tie thing an actual element of traditional Hasidic dress? Most non-Hasidic Orthodox Jews I know just look well-dressed and pro-tie (or at least not generally anti-tie as a rule), and I work with a lot of Orthodox Jews, but I've never met a Hasidic Jewish man wearing a tie?

Is that just an observational quirk? A Los Angeles Hasidic community thing?

I don't know why this interests me, lol, sorry. I realize this is a stupid question.
