its fucking stupid they dont have lights on around the toilet area. literally 20 drunk people stood around in ankle high mud waiting to piss/shit in almost total darkness. no wonder turds are rolling around everywhere....not my idea of a holiday.

one of my bands is playing, but someone is covering for me, as i'm at a wedding that weekend so can't make it :-(

I am, not quite as excited as I have been the last couple of years though. Sure it will be as great as ever though.

and you want to be able to see that...? Not being able to see at least saves one of your senses.

Im missioning to Glastonbury tomorrow morning, heard tales of touts selling tickets for £50 on the door so we're gonna hop in the car and give it a go! wish me luck

I'm going, wouldn't miss it for anything, rain didn't bother me last year. Enough on the line up to keep me happy and I've always had a wicked time regardless of who's playing.

I'm going again this year. Doing the Oxfam stewarding thing. Lineup doesn't look as good as last year but I know I'll have a deadly time.

id be more than happy to meet up with anyone based purely on the fact that you use watmm and i use watmm, but i cant think of a logical way of doing it

I'm there, as I have been every year previously, this may be my last one though just to show I have some vague sort of imagination. There are some other pretty exciting festivals out there worth checking out and I can only really afford one summer one. This years line up looks pretty epic in my opinion though, there may be less WATMM type godfathers playing, but there's some damn tasty stuff. If the weather's decent it will be amazing, I can't believe that with reduced numbers it still hasn't sold out. Criminal. Last year must have really been terrible for some people (yep some pretty bad stories on here!), I still managed to wrangle loads of fun out of it! I can't wait...!

Yeah there is some pretty tasty stuff on the lineup. I think this year might be my last year too - some other really good festivals around these days (Bestival, The Big Chill).

I think we need to remember too that Glade is primarily a psytrance festival and the lineup reflects this I think.

just checked the weather on the metcheck festival weather checker - RAIN on thursday, friday and saturday, looks dry-ish but cloudy on sunday and an average temperature over the weekend of 14 degrees. lol, fuck that.

Long range forecasts have crap accuracy though. I was doing a charity bike ride last weekend and for a couple of weeks before the event, all the forecasts were saying heavy rain all day long, but in the end it only rained for 30 minutes and was sunny for a good part of the day.

yeah, nothing's 100% but i bet it's fucking wet at glade again this year.

The authorities themselves say that forecasts are almost useless when made over 5 days in advance.

I did see one the other day though that said it would rain on friday and be fine for the rest of the weekend.

Whatever though, i'm up for whatever's thrown at us
